Pipe Locating

In-ground Pipe Locating

 

Pipe locating consist of using high tech specialized equipment to energize the selected drain or water line at a specific power frequency, at that point, an above ground frequency locating wand set at the matching frequency as the energizer to map out the placement, direction and depth of the selected energized pipe. This is typically used when we need to know where a pipe starts and ends, as well as the path it takes to get there.

Beacon Locating

 

If problems such as drain tree root intrusion or damage is found during the camera inspection, our pipeline cameras are equipped with a sonar beacon located in the camera head, which when turned on, sends out a signal which can be traced above ground to locate the exact spot of the camera head and problem below.
